Riyadh, August 20, 2026, SPA -- The Culture House in Riyadh, in cooperation with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy (Dar Alqalam), is organizing a training course on Thuluth calligraphy from August 23 to 27.
The course aims to introduce participants to the foundations and rules of Thuluth calligraphy and develop their practical skills in writing it. The program covers the history and development of Arabic calligraphy; the characteristics of Thuluth; its tools; the preparation of the inkwell and letter proportions; and practical training in writing letters, constructing words, and developing calligraphic compositions.
The course is part of the training programs, offering participants specialized hands-on experience in one of the most prominent forms of Arabic calligraphy while promoting the art and skills of calligraphy among enthusiasts.
