Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 2nd September 2026: King’s College Riyadh’s new SEDRA campus, set to open in August 2027, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Clouds Garden Preschool, a Riyadh-based early childhood preschool providing learning and care for children aged one to six. The partnership aims to support children and families as they make the important transition from preschool into school.
The MoU was signed on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at the King’s College Riyadh Parent Experience Centre at ROSHN Front by Jacqueline Gare, Parent Experience Manager at King’s College Riyadh, and Hiba Alghaben, Founder of Clouds Garden Prerschool.
Through the partnership, King’s College Riyadh and Clouds Garden Preschool will align their curricula and educational approaches and develop transition programmes that build continuity between children’s nursery and school experiences. The collaboration will also give Clouds Garden Preschool families opportunities to become familiar with King’s College Riyadh’s new SEDRA campus, its educational approach and wider school community ahead of their child’s transition.
Clouds Garden Preschool families will have access to a programme of information sessions, open day events, community events and family activities, providing meaningful opportunities to engage with the new SEDRA campus. The partnership will also bring the two communities together through joint events and activities, including celebrations and community-focused initiatives.
The agreement marks another step in King’s College Riyadh’s efforts to build strong relationships with the local early-years community ahead of the opening of its new SEDRA campus. By working closely with nurseries and families, the school aims to create greater continuity between preschool and school, helping children approach this important transition with familiarity and confidence.

Opening in August 2027, King’s College Riyadh’s new SEDRA campus will initially welcome students from Pre-School to Year 9, with plans to grow through to Year 13. The purpose-built campus will bring King’s longstanding educational heritage and British approach to education to families in the growing SEDRA community and across Riyadh.
