Designed with meticulous attention to detail, this modern revival stays true to its origins while incorporating contemporary enhancements, reinforcing G-SHOCK’s enduring reputation for innovation and durability.

The DW-5000R faithfully replicates the flat bezel design of the DW-5000C, with red, blue, and yellow accents on the dial that mirror the 1983 model. The stainless-steel centre case and screw-lock case back proudly display the engraved 'Shock Resistant' inscription, just as the original did. Even the textured band has been carefully reproduced to match the uneven pattern and dimple placement of the classic model, delivering an authentic retro appeal.
While visually a near-perfect revival, the DW-5000R integrates contemporary technology for a seamless modern experience. It features a high-brightness LED backlight for enhanced readability in low-light conditions, as well as a bezel and band crafted from bio-based resin, reinforcing CASIO’s commitment to sustainability.
Produced at Yamagata CASIO, the brand’s prestigious “mother factory” in Japan, the DW-5000R continues the tradition of exceptional craftsmanship that has defined G-SHOCK for over 40 years.
