Riyadh, October 31, 2026, SPA -- Two juvenile peregrine falcons were sold for a total of SAR168,000 on the 13th night of the National Center for Falcons Auction 2026, which is being held by the center until November 30, amid strong attendance from falconry enthusiasts.
The first juvenile peregrine was sold for SAR111,000 after bidding started at SAR50,000. The auction concluded with the sale of the second juvenile peregrine, presented by seven falconers, for SAR57,000.
The auction is exclusively open to migratory juvenile peregrine falcons caught in the Kingdom. It excludes mature peregrine falcons and saker falcons, in support of sustainability and the preservation of these breeds.
The center continues to receive locally caught falcons over a two-month period. Auction nights are also broadcast on television channels and social media platforms, allowing falconers and enthusiasts to follow the proceedings.
The National Center for Falcons provides falconers with a range of services throughout the falcon-catching season. Its teams receive falcon owners in various regions and arrange their accommodation and transportation to the auction venue. Each falcon is then presented in a live, competitive auction broadcast on television channels and the center's social media accounts.
