Riyadh, October 08, 2026, SPA -- The Oil Sustainability Program (OSP) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Readymix to strengthen cooperation in developing advanced NovusCrete concrete technologies.

The MoU is part of ongoing national efforts to promote environmental sustainability. It aims to improve economic and operational efficiency by increasing the use of polymer-based and sustainable materials in the construction sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The MoU seeks to strengthen technical and technological readiness through cooperation and support joint research and innovation. It will also pave the way for wider field and commercial applications of these technologies in major projects across Saudi Arabia. The two sides will coordinate activities that support their shared interests and sustainable development goals.

In a related move, OSP sponsored the signing of an MoU between Saudi Readymix and ClimateCrete. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation on the use of re-engineered sand, produced by processing drilling and construction waste, in concrete applications in Saudi Arabia.

The MoU is part of efforts to support strategic partnerships and expand the use of innovative materials. It focuses on developing a facility to process re-engineered sand and implementing a joint technical testing program. The program will assess the material's performance and efficiency in concrete mixes and evaluate its economic feasibility.
