Uber Supports Drivers in Saudi Arabia with Special Ramadan Initiative
May 09, 2021: Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan, Uber today announced that it will be rewarding top rated drivers in Saudi Arabia with special incentives* worth 50,000 SAR. Up to 10 drivers a day will be able to unlock 500 SAR each, helping them make the most of their time on the app during the Holy Month.
The company has rolled out the incentive in the Kingdom to appreciate and reward drivers’ commitment to the quality of services to their riders, especially during this special time of the year. The incentive is active until May 11th (inclusive).
“Drivers are at the heart of the Uber experience,” said Mohammed Gazzaz, General Manager of Uber in Saudi Arabia. “Today, more than ever we believe it is extremely important that we show our appreciation for their efforts and reward them for their ongoing commitment in keeping our communities moving despite some challenging obstacles over the last year. We hope this incentive will help drivers make the most out of their time on the road during the Holy Month of Ramadan.”
Each day during the last 10 days of the holy month, 10 drivers who have made the most five-star trips during the eligibility period will be contacted by Uber to receive their incentives.
