Dubai, UAE, January 22, 2018: Al -Jazeera Paints, giant of high quality paints manufacturing in the Kingdom, Middle East and North Africa, has launched modern water insulation techniques, such as Al- Jazeera Cool Roof and Al- Jazeera Flexi Guard.
This comes at time of increasing calls for taking all actions that contribute and help to enhance sustainability in buildings and facilities to reduce the costs of periodic maintenance of water leaks and its damages, and reduce the squandering resulting from heat leakage as well.
Al-Jazeera Cool Roof performs water insulation for roofs of buildings and factories, as it is water borne, flexible, environmentally responsible coating with high properties of water insulation. It contributes to reduce the absorption of heat surfaces by sun reflection technology, leading to reduce internal temperature. It can be applied on five types of surfaces including steel, concrete, cement tiles, Polyurethane foam and Bitumen which enhances its efficiency to contribute to the performance of its desired functional role, and has certified test in line with the requirements of the American Council for the classification of cold surfaces CRRC.
In addition, Al- Jazeera Flexi Guard insulates water under tiles, eliminating significant structural damages caused by water leakage and exposure to moisture. Therefore, it is used as insulator for the roofs of buildings, floors and walls of kitchens and bathrooms, as well as constructive bases, agricultural basins, underground basements, and their facades under stone and marble.
'It is not secret to anyone, especially specialists, real estate developing companies, engineers and contractors, the importance of applying insulation to buildings of all kinds, including waterproofing,' said Mr. Abdullah Bin Saud AL-Romaih, CEO OF Al-Jazeera Paints company, adding that Paints and insulation methods have received our great research interests to cover all insulation requirements for buildings and factories, through innovative, comprehensive and effective solutions. '
Al-Romaih expressed his hope that the company's efforts will contribute to enhance sustainability in the buildings and factories sectors. He expressed his pride in leading Al-Jazeera Paints to provide these types of insulators to the Saudi market and foreign markets, referring to the company's lately keenness to raise awareness in this regard during its participation in Construction exhibitions, the latest one was the Saudi construction exhibition in Riyadh last October.
Waterproofing effectively contributes to the protection of buildings and factories from leakage of water that causes a lot of damages, such as cracking of concrete buildings resulting from corrosion of metals such as reinforcing steel and metal structures, cement fragmentation and its weak resistance by the passing of time, the efflorescence of wall paints, their flaking and separation, growth of algae and fungi, deformation of the building, the emission of odors of mold, exposure of electricity circuits to damage, and cracking of ceramic tiles and separation from walls.
