Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism appoints new representation office in KSA

June 15, 2016 - The Ministry of Tourism for the Republic of Bulgaria has recently signed an Agreement of Cooperation with ID Global Company, a diversified commercial conglomerate with direct investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Middle East, Asia and Europe, to represent Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism and promote its tourism industry and policies in the Kingdom.

The company maintains a strategic partnership with Elaf Travel, a known leader in KSA's tourism, aviation and hospitality segments. Under the terms of the newly signed agreement, ID Global is expected to reinforce tourism business ties between Saudi Arabia and Bulgaria.

The partnership also demonstrates Bulgaria's keenness towards firmly establishing, widening and reinforcing its brand engagement and awareness among Saudi Arabian travelers and travel industry leaders, so that an increasing number of visitors can experience and appreciate the destination’s unique and rich cultural offerings. The main focus of Bulgaria’s promotional activities in the region will be centered on the local market. As part of the strategic partnership, Elaf Travel will promote Bulgaria among leading travel professionals and consumers through a number of marketing and public relations activities.

Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism is eager to introduce the country's leading tourist spots to the Saudi Arabian market--positioning Bulgaria as a unique and highly preferred destination that combines genuine warmth and a welcoming environment for visitors who appreciate culinary and cultural experiences along with scenic beauty and exciting family attractions. The agreement between the Ministry and ID Global is seen as a major step in the right direction and is reflective of the growing importance and the commitment to this market. The Ministry is confident in Elaf Travel, one of the leading travel companies in Saudi Arabia, as the best choice for developing tourism activities and to achieve its goals.

Elaf Travel & Tourism Company, which is fully owned by SEDCO Holdings, is surging ahead as a leading travel service provider in the Kingdom. Basking in its 35 years of experience in the hospitability industry, the Elaf Group is a well-established player in the Hotels, Hajj & Umrah and Travel management services segments. With a staff strength of over 1,500, the Elaf Group is widely recognized for its financial stability, flexibility, unique approach to client servicing and highly experienced staff.
